Colo and his companions, Muneca and Lulu, are the three lions which have most obviously suffered from circus life. They are extremely aggressive, and get angry whenever anyone approaches them or walks past with a stick or broom. We believe they have almost certainly been beaten by their previous owner.
But despite this, they have come a very long way. They are much calmer now. We hope that, in time, they will learn that not all humans are a threat to them.

It is so sad that so many lions, and other wild animals aswell, are forced to live their lives like those three. Will they ever get the opportunity to feel the soil of the savannah under their paws again? Thanks for sharing anyway
When will people ever learn that they are animals too, no better than any other type of creature. We all came from the earth and we need to share the bounty! since we have the more developed brain and with it all the power over the less intelligent why can,t we use it to help and care for all the other life here. We have no more importance than any life on earth. Making domestic and wildlife alike SLAVES!
I agree with your comment apart from the part where you say humans have more power over the less intelligent. Animals are so much more clever and powerfull than us, they dont need to make weapons to hunt. Put a human with no weapons in a cage with a lion… who would win. Hope all animals will be free in the future.
